When a parent enrolls his or her child, eGuardian verifies the information with the child's school, guaranteeing that the information is accurate and that the person enrolling the child is indeed the parent or legal guardian.
Once verified, we are able to provide parents with a unique eGuardian ID for each enrolled child.
After a child is enrolled, the eGuardian system works silently in the background to allow partner social networking sites and search engines to know the age group, but not the identity, of the eGuardian member. The application can run on shared computers, and multiple eGuardian IDs can be installed on the same machine.
Through our active verification system we can immediately disable an eGuardian ID systemwide, and provide an Amber-Alert-type notification should a child be abducted or missing.
